Tre's PlaceWow........ our God is AWESOME!! июля 08 Im going on holiday!!!!!!!WooHoo!!!! Its HOLIDAY TIME!!
Well for the first time in Five years I am going on holiday! I cant tell you how excited I am to be getting on a plane. I lurve travelling and have missed going anywhere really hot and sunny. I am actually going on two holidays. The first is a weekend to Dublin to meet up with a friend of mine who I have known for the last 7 years or so but havent seen him for 6 years now. He is a lovely person from Sicily who I met when I went on a missions trip there. His name is Agostino and we have kept in touch over the years by letter text and emails. Since I first met this guy he has been telling me of his strong desire to come over to live in the UK somewhere and had been hoping to make the move a couple of years ago but for some reason it didnt happen. He is now working and living in Dublin which is great and Im sure it is God's plan for his life. I am so pleased for him that his dream is beginning to come true but I know he is finding aspects of the move frustrating. Hopefully I will be able to encourage him in some small way but at very least we should have a great time together. lol..... Just so you are all aware..... there is nothing romantic between Agostino and myself, although he is gorgeous, we are simply very good friends and I love him dearly.
Anyway I am travelling to Dublin on the 20th July and returning home on the 23rd. Then on the 26th July I am flying out to Turkey for a week in a small friendly hotel. I am going alone as most of my friends are married or have families so I was a little worried about spending a week in a hotel full of couples and children. So I checked online and booked a Simply Solo's holiday which is for people travelling alone. The company book the whole hotel just for their customers so there will be no kids or sloppy couples around which is great and I know that I will not feel awkward about being alone as everyone is going to be in the same boat. I am totally looking forward to going away to have a rest and am quite thankful that I am going alone. I wont have to make small talk with anyone if I dont want to and I think the age range for the group tends to be over 40years old so I shouldnt find too many boystrous yobs splashing at me while I read my book!! lol.... Maybe I should be the loutish Yob eh??
 so I should be back on before too long with some pics of both trips....... and hopefully I will have a tan!!
Oh yeah..... by the way I had my hair cut last week and I think its too short and dont really like it. But today when I did it properly for church it looked ok and Im sure Ill get used to it before long.......

мая 12 Woah its been a long time!!Hi Everyone,
It has been ages since I last updated my blog..... lol.... Ive been very busy at work and church and that is my only excuse. Life is going great for me at the moment... At church we are going through 'The Purpose Driven Life' by Rick Warren whch is a fabulous book and study programe. We are having a preaching series at church to run along side the study sessions in small groups and the reading plan. It is a wonderful book and is great to see how our church are thoroughly enjoying learning together in this way. Obviously everyone are at different levels of faith and maturity with God but even for people like myself who feel they have quite a good understanding of our purpose in God this time of learning has still been very valuable. As we started this programe my intentions were to serve and support others who may be struggling with aspects of it while staying open to anything God wanted to say to me at the same time..... God has been amazing and as we have come together in unity I dont think there is anyone in our church who isnt getting tons out of this time.
I am now our house group leader and am loving being able to serve in this capacity. It is such a wonderful honour to be used by God and to have the privaledge of learning along side of this awesome group of people. In our group we have quite a diverse mixture of people which makes for excellent discussions and being able to see different perspectives of God and how He works in our lives. ITS AWESOME!!
God is so amazing
Anyway.... lol..... Im gonna stop rambling now and may find time to update again soon.
